Mike Krug

 

 

MIke is one of the clubs true 'gentleman'.  Due to work and family commitments, Mike is limited in the amount of time he has to fish club tournaments.  He enjoys salt water fishing as well as spending time fishing many of the small bodies of water on Long Island out of his 'tin boat'.  When Mike first joined the club in 2001 he won the very first tournament he entered, in fact he won three out of the first five he entered.  That is why I call him....the ANIMAL!  Mike and his partner won the clubs "Team Championship" in 2001 and 2002.  In 2007 Mike established a new 'club record' for the Connecticut River when he boated a 6 lb.,12 oz. largemouth.  In checking with the Connecticut DEP we were informed that this fish was the second largest bass reported to that agency since they began keeping records of exceptional catches.  Nice Mike
