John broke in with a bang, winning the very first tournament he fished in the club.  What was most impressive is that it was a "Grand Slam" event, the "Open Championship" on Candlewood Lake. He is a very consistent competitor who is a threat to win any tournament he enters.  John has a 'nose' for fish and that's something you cant teach.  For the second year in a row he has qualified for the clubs 'Tournament Of Champions' by winning the "Best Of The Rest" Championship.  Of the 24 club tournaments he's fished he has finished in the 'Top Five' over 50% of the time.
