“Tournament Sign Up Procedure 10”

 

The “Tournament Sign” up for 2009’ will utilize the clubs Message Board which may be accessed through the clubs web-site (Located on the Home Page, left side, bottom of the ‘link’ box)  The message board is hosted by BASSIN USA. You must have a password to log on.  If you do not have one, follow the directions provided on the BASSIN USA site.

 

You may sign up for one tournament at a time only. You may not sign up for another member besides yourself and your partner, one pairing per-post.  You may however sign in for you and your partner then exit the post, returning later to sign in for another member, one pairing per-post.

 

If you sign in as a boater with no partner, sign in as (ie.) Scully - SOLO.  Make sure to put SOLO in capital letters. 

 

If you sign in as a non-boater looking for a partner, sign in as (ie.) Scully – NON BOATER.  Make sure to put NON-BOATER in capital letters.

 

If you plan on bringing a guest you must notify Kevin Cunningham at least one week prior to the date of the actual tournament.  Do not list the guests name on the sign up list unless he has met the criteria listed in the clubs Rules & Regulations.   Sign in as (ie.) Scully - GUEST.  Make sure GUEST is in capital letters.

 

If you are planning on bringing a youth as your partner sign in as (ie.) Scully - YOUTH.  Make sure YOUTH is in capital letters.

 

The club reserves the right to pair boater and non-boater should it become necessary.

 

Sign up will begin one week prior to the actual date of the tournament and end on the Wednesday evening prior to the actual date of the tournament at 6pm.  See exceptions listed below. A-B-C-D

 

The Tournament Director will pick and assign all boat numbers.

 

By returning to the club Message Board after 6 pm on Thursday evening prior to the tournament your boat number along with the ‘starter boat designate’ will be posted.  See exceptions listed below.  A-B-C-D

 

Do not ask a question in the 'Sign Up' post.  Begin another post PLEASE!

 

A- In the case of the Open Championship the sign will begin on Wednesday April 14th and the cut off will be Monday evening April 19th, at 6pm.  Boat numbers will be posted Tuesday evening April 20st  after 6 pm.

 

B- In the case of the Masters Championship the sign up will begin on Wednesday June 16th and the cut off will be Monday evening June 21st. at 6 pm.  Boat numbers will be posted Tuesday evening, June 22nd  after 6 pm.

 

C- In the case of the Classic Championship, sign up and the drawing for boat numbers will take place at the ‘Captains Meeting’ on September 22nd.  Time and place will be announced well in advance.

 

D- In the case of the TOC boat numbers will be assigned at the ramp prior to the start of the tournament.

 

If you do not register using the message board, and show up at the ramp you will be assigned the last number available.   It will be your responsibility on tournament morning to find the Tournament Director and register for the day’s event.  Failure to do so will result in your catch being disqualified.
